The tragedy of life and of the world is not that men do not know God; the tragedy is that, knowing Him, they still insist on going their own way.

-- William Barclay

I think this quote exemplifies a bit too well the reality of today.

Recently, it reminds me of the same friend I've wrote about on the ACF blog. Her actions despite being conscious about the harm it's doing to herself and to others. Her continuation in spite. A little further back in time, a male friend. Wandered of the path, back to his life before Christ, conscious of how he was decreasing his chances, yet reverting to the comforts of his past life. Back to the present, my life. Reminds me of how I've been affected by both these experiences, how it increases my struggle to fight temptation, and how I'm slowly losing. Reminds me of how much I need a strong support system, and how I've been breaking them down rather than building new
ones.

God didnt creat losers, he created you to be victorious, so start be humble and say yes to whatever he says you are and do whatever he says you WILL do, not what you should do.
