when you believe

so. I have calculated that even if my mother hadn't given me money, I would have been able to make rent. Why? Because God does provide.

balance at beginning of Jan = $59.61
textbook sales = $100
money saved at home = $40
government grant = $150
compensation for psych study = $40
money in wallet = $35
total= $424.61 <-- rent + $29.61

albeit it wouldn't be enough money for me to pay the last month of rent... but hopefully something would've figured itself out by then

taste the rainbow

so i've finally gotten around to blogging. several things.
A) Class - 4 new classes this semester. 3 criminology, 1 online psych. I've got a somewhat valley girl, potty mouth (not really quite sure how to describe her), an ADHD francophone on Red Rave, and an opinionated visible minority sociology PhD. Seems like a fun time. Now to keep on top of things. February is my busiest month. No life for me.

B) Motivations - so far, still on a major job hunt. heart has not been lost yet. praying that it stays this way at least until I find a steady form of income. Also praying that I'll stay motivated for school, ESPECIALLY in that brutal month of February.

C) $$$ - There have been several inquiries about textbooks I have up for sale, however none have confirmed wanting to purchase them. I'm hoping they do.

D) Game Plan - Man Jason. Have you ever watched this movie before? Why would you buy it? The longer part of the movie is horrible. It isn't until they play the "loving father/no long self-centred" card that the "tear jerker" card reaches its full potential. All in all, WTF were you thinking when you bought this movie, Jason?

(edit - 11:11pm)

C) both textbooks have been confirmed. I am getting money TOMORROW!!!! PTL!!PTL!!PTL!!
